TE John Raine FAU would fit nicely

The only way we’d need him is if Pettigrew doesn’t cut it, Gilbert is injured or still taking his time to adjust and Kole Taylor isn’t ready.

There were talks that they’ve considered some interior olinemen and a backup qb but that may have changed with Evans moving over to C

I know Ed said that TK is a de, but we have PLENTY of Strongside DE.

TK could go tbakc to te.

We got the highest rated tight end ever.

You don’t think he was told he would have a big shot at starting day one

Last spot probably goes to an OL.

LSU will not take a grad transfer TE. They are happy with what they have. If a quality OL is available they'll try to sign him. The plan was to wait until after spring practice to decide if they wanted to go after a QB. That plan is obviously out the window.

You are right about the surgery. Forgot about that.

Pettigrew is a 5th yr SR that can’t get on the field

They need another TE

Taylor in a perfect world is a redshirt

Last spot?

I haven't been paying close attention to the roster recently, but I thought we had 2 spots left after Cox.

Don’t see LSU taking grad transfer TE.

After Cox the coaches were looking at OL and possibly QB as stated earlier in the thread.

I think we take a Tackle.

I thought we’d consider a QB but this situation with no spring ball will hurt our ability to take advantage of a possible attractive QB coming available, so I think we will probably have to ride with Brennan now no matter what.

In this scenario now, I could see adding a TE. I could also see adding a veteran CB. A pass rusher would be nice but unlikely to come on the market.

Dude you're an idiot
You were saying you didn't even see kole taylor in the class and he is already looking good in practice

Tackle would be nice but there has to be one there

This guy is plug & play as your 2020 starter just like the Cox kid. He’s a 23yr old 5yr SR. With all the departures they could use a veteran around

Since there is no spring practice they won't know any of this until the games begin so that is no option.

36 down votes on that statement

Do you guys not follow the team?

Gilbert is a true freshmen recovering from shoulder surgery. Will be a great receiver but not ready to block

Taylor certainly is not physically ready to play a big role

Pettigrew hasn’t played in 4years. Do the math on that one

Aaron Moffit?

Name a weaker position on the team
