His daughter went to Texas, because their volleyball program is elite and ours is arse.
I am sure it’s the case for his son too. If we could finally quit sucking I am sure he’s going to strongly consider LSU.

It’s a silly question with zero context. Of course there’s a chance we get him. Also, of course there’s a chance we don’t get him. Not sure what the guy is looking for. The same thing could be said about virtually every top player that had a parent that played at lsu.

Just want to clarify that both his parents went to LSU. And his mom was a baller! If a player is ranked No.1 in their class, most odds would say that they'd be a 1 and done player. Can LSU support 1 and dones? Yes (Ben Simmons, Naz Reid, Tari Eason*)

Being honest would you send your kid to LSU play for McMahon considering the products on the court so far?
McMahon has a huge year ahead of him because if he cant get to the tournament, I dont ever see him turning things around here and recruiting will suffer

I read an article and list of schools he’s interested in attending as the #1 Rated HS basketball player in 2028 class.
LSU not on that list .

Both of his parents attending LSU is the ONLY reason the current state of the basketball program would even get a look. But I doubt the home ties to BR would be enough to overcome the futility of the LSU basketball. There is as much apathy surrounding the program as at any point in, at least, the last 10 years. I'd say barring a dramatic improvement in the state of the program this season, the chances of LSU signing Spears would be really low.
