I can't see how Pickett going there as 1 of 130 recruits this weekend is going to make him feel like a priority.

Miami is trying to sell Dj on coming in being the man ( the face of the defense). Miami defense is terrible. If it wasn't for the refs and the acc trying to get 2-3 teams in the playoffs Miami should have 3 losses.
I don't think Miami will look like Florida State next year but with what they're losing from this transfer class they brought in they will have three to five losses next year unless they just kill it in the portal again

This. I cant see him wanting to be a part of that craptastic defense. Lance Guidry has done a pretty bad job there and the last 3 games have been pitiful defensive performances.
They could not stop Louisville. Cal put up 38 on them and they have had a terrible offense. VT also put up 34 on them.
This is like 2023 LSU defense bad at this point. If FSU puts up 30+ on Miami that defense is broken. FSU hasnt put up more than 21 points on ANYONE all season long.

That’s a good point relationships are key in recruiting. He even shouted out Raymond during his commitment. Miami’s defense has def been awful esp the last 3 games. Their secondary has gotten worse and worse throughout the year while the young guys on our backend like woodland, stamps and spears and getting better and better as the season goes along .

Shea wrote an article for On3 today about where things stand with our 5 stars. Bengal Tiger interviewed Pickett’s cousin who is a 4 star OT prospect. His name is Cannon Pickett. Cannon said DJ is on him hard to join him at LSU.
