After coach O said he wants pro style Qb's on his radio show does it affect Lowell's commitment ?? Did he play in a spread at his HS? Does anyone know if he's comfortable with any pro concepts ?? He's a big time talent imo and I hope he sticks with Lsu. If he has NFL aspirations he needs to learn how to run out of pro sets anyway but I worry of those comments will make him rethink anything

I know he was planning on visiting some other schools but he took a visit to LSU last week and met with Coach O and the rest of the staff and solidified his commitment. I think it all depends on who the coach is next year. I know Malzahn is rushing him hard

Meh, I feel confident our new OC won't be incredibly stubborn and insist on treating every QB like they're the same player, regardless of skill set. Anybody with half a brain tailors their offense to their talent

I assure you Coach O loves Narcrisse and wants him here. He's an amazing player.

Dak Prescott would agree (2500 rushing yards at state). Everyone of our recruits has dreams of playing in the NFL, and I'm sure Narcisse knows that running is a secondary skill for an NFL QB.

Won't matter if Coach O is not the HC.

dude threw it 27x a game as a sophomore. this isnt some Shyrone Carey type option QB. Think Ryan Perrilloux, who was a pro style QB who could run.

This! Being a pro style QB just means you can get under center or in the gun and sit back and pick people apart.

Good for Coach O being honest. Helps the kid make the best decision for him. Kid is made for Auburn, MState, Louisville, Ohio state. We want him here. But why try to him to something he's not. Coach O could be chasing off recruits with this kind of statement, and he doesn't have the permanent job.

With two ACL injuries already I would say he can be a pro style QB at LSU

The offense O wands to run is similar to a USC / Seattle Seahawk offense so I can see Lowell doing just fine in the offense. I just wander if it scared him a bit with auburn coming on strong

I personally think it was a message to Tuttle and/or Dinkleman.

Brennan has been receiving a lot of hype, and for good reason. But Narcisse would be putting up huge numbers as well. Don't forget that prior to his injury he was rated the #1 dual-threat by ESPN, and no lower than 3rd by the other major services. Following his sophomore year he was as hot as any QB in the country. The only 2 things hurting him are his accuracy and his injury bug. However, he's already off crutches and walking with a very slight limp.

Accuracy is kind of a big deal.
