Hopefully we win the Herman sweepstakes and even more dynamic QBs will be dying to come here.

We also don't know just how mobile he'll be with acl injuries to both knees.

What competition is Brennan goin up against ?? I know he needs to bulk up a lot so as good as he's looked I wander if a Red shirt may be best? Lowell although injuries may hold him back, physically looks ready for the sec

mobility is a positive

if you ran the spread in high school doesn't mean you can't be pro-style... this isn't like taking a Prius off-road or something, you can have both

Well in Junior's defense I will say that the offensive line at St. James has been atrocious for the past several years. He was basically running for his life on every play, so I can understand why his accuracy wasn't top-notch. If you watch his highlights you'll see that most of his passes were thrown on the run; very rarely did he have time to set his feet. To put up the numbers he did, and to achieve was he was able to do with that O-line is phenomenal. I can't wait to see what he can do behind a line that can actually block. As far as the injuries go, he came back from the last tear even better, and this one wasn't as severe. I don't think it'll slow him down one bit. He also had the same doctor that Tyrann Matthieu used and his physical therapists are top-notch. He's gonna make some waves during spring ball no doubt. I expect Brennan's passing to be superior due to having more experience and reps, but there will be no denying Lowell's natural ability and athleticism.

Why does anyone care what Coach O is saying right now .... Odds of him getting the job are less than 50% right now

I see Lowell somewhat in the same style as Tim Tebow...but faster and stronger arm...

i think O is talking about those gimmick quarterbacks that run half of the time that typically don't make it to the NFL

Yea Narcisse can spin the skin a great bit faster than Tebow could, but I see the comparison. Lowell will be JACKED after a year or two as a Tiger.

I think he will be a better pro style than dual threat in college. He seems to have the footwork to move in a pocket and his size should allow him to take hits better. He is a very good runner, but I don't think he has the speed for the college level.

Heard through the grape vine that he was considering Auburn. Not sure how true but it's the grapevine

Yes we land him. Early enrollee candidate if I recall.

Anyone recall Corey Webster?
He played QB at St James as well.

Narcisse will be the same way and be moved to a skilled position before it's over with.

He ought to be a pro style qb... running has not been too good for him

Auburn, UNC, Virginia, and Memphis are the teams after him. He really wants to play for LSU but it all depends on the coaching situation.

Brennan plays exclusively in the spread (not pro style) formations. So what does pro style mean?

Nah. He's a QB all the way

Where do you think they move him? He wouldn't push for time at wr or db. Keep him at QB. Having a stable long term situation at QB is way more important than having another body that wouldn't play at a skill position

He's gonna be a good QB and he and Brennan will push eachother all through school

Yeah like I said it's all gonna come down to who the coach is and what he's looking for in a QB. If he wants a traditional drop back passer than Brennan will be the guy; if he wants someone who can create plays with both his arms and his legs then it'll be Narcisse. LSU is gonna be loaded with QBs -- Scott, Narcisse, Brennan, Dinkleman... it'll be interesting to see where they all fit in

Did he play in a spread at his HS?

You don't know what type of offense he runs in high school

He's a big time talent imo
