letting the Dugas kid go to bama because we just have no room yet someone we have room for a boatload of shitty players was not too good

Why exactly is this a problem? Even though it doesn't happen a lot it isn't unheard of.

this happens all the time and is how major colleges use the JC programs if a player will most likely sit the bench for 2 yrs why not send them to a JC program let them get more playing time and then see how they do if they do well see if you can get them back very common in baseball with the limited number of scholarships that are offered.

I know I've asked this before and not sure if I've gotten a response but wasn't Todd Walker the last guy to get a full scholly?

If we fit everyone committed/not going pro on roster, than is it really a mistake to give anyone a full scholarship?

I'm wondering if some of you realize that there is a 30 man roster limit.
All you can do with new kids is try to evaluate from what you see from HS/JUCO and fall ball but it's always iffy at best.
Look at the NFL and all of the money they poor into draft analysis only to make awful choices. I'm sure PM had pretty logical reasons for all of these moves.

No way we couldn't use someone like that
Insert that offensive performance and an average fielding percentage at 3rd base.

Well, if Coach M did then he rectified it as the youngster is returning to LSU
