Awesome. Hopefully he's not trolling. Unfortunately that's my expectation with all these kids the way things are now. Definitely want him on board.

Exactly this. Not to mention the monicker of “DBU” carrying major weight in the NFL as well. An elite LSU corner is likely to be looked at more than say one from Oklahoma. History can sway opinion some, even with staff changes, culture shifts, etc.

The trophy thing is just absurd to me. Miami definitely can’t claim one, so it looks silly as shite. I know the implication is that the player will “bring one” to the school, but it’s so unearned. Like when Auburn used Joey B’s Heisman trophy for recruiting materials

I agree with you. Just don't know if I would want it broadcasted the way he is doing. I am probably just old.

It is a bit alarming. Prob not great for the locker room assuming he’s making more than lots of other players.

That said, best players get paid the most I guess.

This may be the single greatest edit in the history of college football recruiting. I love it so much on so many levels.

Do you guys not remember Harold Perkins' recruitment?

I didn't notice you with any regrettable takes in that thread.

Doesn't matter. ABC. Always Be Closing. Good on the kid if he understands the NIL game.

They are making example of Mr.Ricks of the Crimson Tide...it literally may have been best thing to happen to our program due to several reasons.....

Oh? Using him as positive recruiting for us with how he has regressed his play since going to Bama or something else?

I’d imagine so, CBK, Cain, Steeples, and the rest of the staff have upped the players development within 11 months of his hire. Saban will likely have a turnover on his staff due to the lacking play this season, though Nick bounces back generally regardless of whom it is. It’ll sway toward LSU however I imagine for even a few recruits

It sounds like you guys are saying something without actually coming out and saying it. Or am I totally wrong on that?
