The transfer portal created this. It is a disaster to play with only 75 while others get 85. For every transfer out, you should get a transfer in.

Raesjon?

Don't think Curry will be RB1.

Assuming Gaye is back, that is TBD.

Thought Lee was LB, haven't heard him as a TE.

From what sunshine pumping has been saying lately, we may get some OL back.

Well Arik is not on the playing roster, that is 100% accurate so I would not count him. Gee is likely going to sign with Notre Dame today (LSU already has 2 or 3 Safeties, depending on where you want to play Chase).

Good work. Could you edit it to show their 247 sports # of stars when recruited?

Coach O just said last night that if you don't sign with LSU in the early period then he doesn't consider you committed to LSU.

I think Ward is a safety and McGlothern is a corner?

A few thoughts:

1). I know many on here think BTJ is a luxury at this point, but except for Jaray, every other WR is 6’1 or shorter. We need another Terrace Marshall type.

2). I think Evan’s stays in DL. If Masson is the only DT this class and if Ika doesn’t come back, then 5 DT’s are not enough. You’re 2 injuries away from being dangerously thin. OL could have 4 injuries and still be 2 deep, and that’s without any more OL committing/transferring in, which I’m confident we get at least 2 more.

3) Dwight McG should stay at CB. I think by next fall, he’s #3 behind Sting & Ricks. He has the frame to put on a little more weight (which is why some want him at S), which it doesn’t look like Ward, Flott or Jones will.

But the future looks bright!

Nice work DStone.

I think -
Shanahan comes back.

Is the TE Aaron Moffitt still on the team?
I don't expect K. Gee and R. Davis to be a part of this class. I think we have other needs.

And I think Darren Evans the DB was a grad transfer. Do you have him coming back next year?

HEre's what I think our recruiting needs are with our last 5 spots -

DT - I see us at 5 DTs on the roster
OL - I'm counting 13 for next year with Shanahan coming back
OL
TE
Best available

At best we're looking at about 75 for next season.

I’d imagine Damone Clark is back next year.

I think Shanahan returns. But I also think you lose 5-10 more from your list as transfers. The expected waiver of the "sit-out period" will make transferring by guys not happy with their spot on the depth chart more attractive than ever before. Because of that, I also think LSU will be more active in the transfer market than ever before...if possible. The question will be what does the NCAA/SEC do about about 25 signee limit? Which, as I understand it, includes transfers.

If you are going to make transferring more attractive than every before, you can't screw teams by wholly preventing them from bringing in players to replace those transfers.

Exactly. I anticipate kids will be changing schools everywhere this offseason and coaches will be tampering/pillaging the rosters of conference rivals without discretion. The NCAA, never one to be accused of having forethought, is opening up a big can of worms with this one.

You can bet your last dollar the reason Gilbert "opted out" is because other SEC schools are actively (though indirectly) recruiting him. The tampering that is probably going on right now is insane. Though it won't really come to light due to mutually assured destruction. When you and everyone else are doing you can't be the one to blow the whistle.

I suspect coaching changes will make all the difference. Both Georgia and Bama have elite TEs. He would just stand out more at LSU. Clemson would be the school to watch

Do you think the NCAA is going to modify the initial counter rule to accommodate this? I just don't see teams having enough spots for this to be a total free for all.
