We have good players already at guard and center. But Martinez and Hill are about getting
Men ready for 2021 and 2022......... not starting in 2020. Adding depth.

Obviously Orgeron sees what he needs in these two and the future looks safe for Oline.

If Cushenberry comes back, that o-line is even better next year.

I wonder if he will come back.

Yeah, if he’s back, then you have a guy in Hines who can alternate between center and guard. If you start Hines at Center than you have slightly less depth at guard.

I'm wondering if Charles comes back...not sure what the penalty is for one more failed test. Can he stay clean to play a full season next year or does he take his talents to the NFL as a late, late draft pick. We've had guys in the past go pro who absolutely had no business doing so. Could only lose Lewis and Magee or add Cush & Charles to the list....next year's o-line could look much different if all those guys exit.

Don’t try and find insults where there are none. Every guy adds depth to his respective position.

You expect him to start next year?

Careful, you’re being way too reasonable. No room for that here....

I saw in one of the commitment threads that coaches have Hill as a center option.

Wire should be a redshirt So.
Turner should be a redshirt Fr.
Bradford should be a redshirt Fr.

Unless they have slipped into more than four games but I can't 100% recall.

I dunno if you have looked at Saahdiq Charles much standing next to the rest of the OL but he’s not 6’4” 310. More like 6’3” 295 but he’s probably the strongest guy on the team besides maybe Damien Lewis. I think he comes back but I believe Cushenberry goes pro. He will be a mid round pick which I think is about his best case scenario. You also didn’t add Dumervil at RT. Im very confident we will close the deal on him.

I have it on good authority that he is almost certainly gone at the end of the season.

Please. If the recruiting services were caught up on Hill and he had 4 or 5 stars by his name there wouldn’t be a “... depth was needed...” thread.

Even if he was a 4 or 5 star, that’s not what I am talking about.

We needed to use a scholarship for the interior. We were thin there. No 5 star would come in and start over what we have now. But we do need depth there that will one day, start.

I understand your confusion though.
