I don't think y'all's D will be bad it'll just be young especially early. Regardless of talent level cohesion is tough when there are a lot of new faces starting. Too bad y'all's schedule is as brutal as ours.

The fact of the matter is that so much depends on how the season goes for us. Ole Miss, if they somehow pull out an 7 or 8 win season, they will become a threat.

I think we get Clark and McDowell in the end, but some people need to stop thinking so close-minded and realize there's a world outside of LSU. In addition, in this game of recruiting, logical thinking by these teenagers sometimes doesn't fly.

Amen to the above post. If you were an 17-18 year old football player, 3-star or above and are allowed five school paid visits, even if you had been able to do some traveling previously, wouldn't you want to be wooed by some of these major college programs?
For many years, I have read about the concern & sometimes panic of fans every time a potential LSU recruit visits somewhere else. Please don't think the sky is falling every time a player talks to someone from another school!

This program does not lose any players it really wants to a school by the likes of Ole Piss. The one major exception being a kid going to play with his brother.

We haven't lost any players to them anyway. It's visits. It happens.
