Whew buddy Denver Harris is a huge swing player for this class.
If we can manage to steal him away from the Texas schools, this will be one of our best CB classes *ever*. If we don't manage to land him, i think we might be slightly lacking in high-end CB talent.
Don't get me wrong, I love Laterrance Welch and Jadarian Rhym and think Marcus Scott is underrated, but none of those guys are that bonafide first-round CB type guy that we almost always have at least one of on the roster. And since we didn't really have one of those guys in the 2021 class, either, I think landing one in 2022 is a big deal.
Bottom line: Harris should be as high a priority as any recruit in this class imo.

If I'm Coach O and Corey Raymond, I point to Derek Stingley and Eli Ricks as likely the first 2 dbs to come off the draft board the next 2 years and sell him on being the next one in line.

Hopefully LSU can get some momentum with him this weekend. Right now it's an Alabama/Texas battle.

I agree. I think welch is our best corner commit, then rhym.
Scott is way down the list for me.

5'8" and never saw a shot he didn't like. Ended up getting expelled from LSU for cheating. IIRC he scored some absurd amount of points in HS and put up like 80 in a game but his team never ran an offense.
