Agreed that McElroy‘s voice carries no merit, and I should have just not mentioned the fact that he was the one quoted.

I imagine you can throw in Wheaton as well as another prospect. Who am I missing?

And, technically, I suppose you could throw Caleb Williams in there as well (even though the other four (4) we just listed are far more important to me - Leigh, Byrd, Foster, and Wheaton)

McElroy also said the Joe Burrow is "not athletic enough to succeed in the NFL". Disagreeing, obviously, with NFL HOF'er Troy Aikman among many others. In the real world, the Texans probably will not wait till the end of the year to fill the position & Riley won't walk away from OU mid season.

I don’t think William’s is going anywhere. Rattler hasn’t really set the world on fire with his QB play. Plus, I would rather have Nuss over Williams. I’ll probably get roasted for that opinion but there isn’t a QB tape I like better than Nuss’. The kid just looks the part and has a swagger about him. Not to mention the ambassador he’s already Become for LSU.

You won’t get roasted by me. I’m 100% in agreement with you on that. I’m all in on Nussmeier, but I would like our chances even more for Leigh, Byrd, Foster, & Wheaton if OU weren’t in the picture!!
