I think he is off the board from what i've heard we have moved on to other options. (Brock Glenn and flipping Rickie Collins)

QB isn’t really a priority for this class

QB is a priority for every recruiting class. Every program wants to sign at least 1 QB for every class.

I think you should take a QB every year in this age of college football but I wouldn’t be upset if we decided not to. I’m confident Sloan will get his guy next year.

Good luck getting a QB to come in and sit behind Nuss and Howard.

Idk how any LSU fan could say this after watching Jontre Kirklin play QB in the Bowl game. You have to take a QB in every recruiting cycle. Its not even up for debate.

Wanting in one hand and shitting in the other is two different things.Sure everyone would love a QB every class but in today’s climate every kid thinks they should be a starter. We will sign a QB but the more really good QBs you have on your roster the harder it is to sign a top level QB.It’s just common sense because if kids don’t start in a year or 2 they leaving

Getting someone that can play immediately isn’t a priority but getting a qb in every class should be a hard and fast rule.

That is literally every college team.
You think everyone recruits freshman to be a starter?

Exactly. We now have a coach with a track record of developing QBs and even playing multiple in the same year.

Kelly should be able to bring in a QB every year. Bama is signing a 4 or 5 star every single year. That’s the standard now.

Yep. For this year...I think it's Collins or a developmental 3*.

Next year should be much easier to attract a big time QB prospect.

I agree on taking a QB every year...even if it's just a 3*.

You think Bama recruits QB's to start as a freshman over Bryce Young?

You think UGA recruits freshman to start over a NC winning QB last year?

You think Tennessee recruited a freshman to start over their QB?

Same with Arkansas and so on.

My point is everyone can't start when you already have good QB's on the roster.

Think before you speak!

You think there won't be any transfers? I believe if Nussmeier doesn't start this year then he'll look to transfer, which means you'll be looking at Howard to start next year and you'll need a backup QB that will likely be a true frosh.

You have to consider QBs transfer more than any other position.

It's certainly debatable. In fact, if you can't get a top notch prospect I think you should pass. If I went four years with only a couple of QB recruits I'd just get guys from the portal.

My point is that going for an elite QB is not a priority for this class. No one is going to come in to compete against Nuss and Walker that is "elite"

That's just how it is. Leaving a spot open for a transfer QB is how I think QB recruiting will be for this cycle.

Daniels is a Jr. Nuss a RF. Howard a true freshmen. I'm assuming at least two will be here next season and obviously LSU wants to sign a freshman to bring in. If we can, we will. If we don't, then there's always the portal. I think Nuss is the future and it would take a hell of a true freshman to beat him or Howard out...
