I swear some of you people get so attached to individual players. It's really weird.
If Nuss is the best QB on the roster next year, then that's awesome. I'll be really happy for him. But with a QB room of Nuss, Collins and Hurley, I just don't think that's a very strong room from a competition standpoint. It's just Nuss and two guys who have never thrown a pass in college.

Of course he hasn't to the people who find excuses to dismiss every time he's played well. By that logic no player can prove they deserve to start without having already started. He's done as much as is actually possible including competing with Jayden 2 years in a row.

Nuss hasn’t proven he should be handed the starting job. He has almost the same amount of turnovers as touchdowns in limited action. If a QB in the portal has potential to better the QB room then the staff will take them

He has proven. He has 0 INTs this season, but apparently you idiots think you should lump in prior seasons despite ignoring them with Jayden. The staff will not take a better QB, but might take a guy willing to play backup.

Idiots such as yourself likely believed Nuss should start over the likely Heisman trophy winner Jayden Daniels. Who’s really the idiot? Nuss has a career completion percentage of 56.3% , not exactly a proven starter considering most of his playing time was against bad competition.

What does being the starter have to do with anything? When Nuss is on the field his numbers haven’t been good period. Not saying he can’t improve but he’s not proven as you claim he is. Also Jayden won two qb competitions at LSU already bud, he had competition dipshit. Melt away

Jayden didn't win shite. You can't claim Nuss sucks while also claiming he was sufficient competition kid. He was handed the job and you had no issue with it.

You can't limit your team the next 2 years because a recruit from 1,000 miles away might commit to you, might sign a year from now, and might be offended if we do.
All this being said, this kid is probably going to want a premium NIL package and to stay on the west coast. I'd look out for USC, Oregon, maybe even Washington.
