Dang it’s unfortunate Juan Johnson isn't an early enrollee..

He’s got the athleticism to help at cb but not having a spring to get better at the position he hasn’t played will really hamper that process as for as playing in 24 is concerned.

If we can make it thru camp without setbacks, we’ll have much better depth in 24.

Always good to see that LSU still can't get a guy's name right.

He should be a great talent but we don’t need anymore inexperience in our secondary. Need some seasoned guys who are ready to play.

True. Any word on JK Johnson yet

2025 is our year. Next year could be more of the same record wise. 9-3 type of season. But I think 2025 we are setting up for a big leap into elite status.

Not too many Latinos have made the jump to SEC corner successfully.

Actually, Matty B on On3, did an analysis of early enrollees vs regular enrollees relative to contributions in their true freshman year, and he found no discernible pattern or higher degree of success for early enrollees va regular. It’s more about the skills of the player than when they start

I knew there would be one as soon as I posted.

I just feel he is a specific case where early enroll would help since he hasn’t been playing the position he will be playing in college. And he’s a good enough athlete to where a spring may be enough work for him to adapt quickly

I still don't understand how you take a kid that is this electric with the ball in his hands and put him on defense.
Maybe he turns into the next Honey badger but I think he should be given a shot at slot WR before being deemed a DB.

So you used the wrong name on purpose?

With Campbell, Jones, Perk and Taylorgone, who will be the 2025 anchors? We need to make a 2024 run

Like that he came out and said he’d play wherever to help the team

Is this a joke? Have you seen the kid's name?

His commercials in New Orleans with Big Freedia are awesome.

Nope I just didn’t use the apostrophe out of laziness and knew some clown like you wouldn’t pass up the chance to mention it.

Mason Taylor? I can’t see him leaving early unless he has an unbelievable year
Posted on 12/27/23 at 6:11 pm to Lou Pai
Yeah, maybe parents should think about the trouble they're causing their children when they load the kid's name with apostrophes or dashes or some freaky made-up name.
