I hope and pray LSU can keep Houston. That young man has God given talent that you can’t teach.

Houston seems like the guy not to play games. I think he’ll stick. I’m impressed by him and his maturity

I just don’t get why it’s a talking point, he has offers from everyone in the nation and there have been so many QBs his size thrive in college & into the nfl.

He's listed on multiple sites anywhere from 5'10" to 6' even, so he's probably somewhere in the middle. Most places have him on the taller side of that.

He's also 16.

It's just not worth worrying about. All our qb's now are 6'1".

What about his height 5'10

I think Kyler Murray and Bryce Young have proved that 5' 10" QBs can play.

Respect to the Evangel fans and he's definitely a great HS QB. I truly wish him the best.

But....

He's 5"11 say. OK, well we have a similar QB who was all everything too at 16 in HS on roster and he'll never see the field.

The odds are stacked against Peyton, maybe he overcomes.... I have my doubts due to History.

Current NFL QBs 5'11 or shorter:

5'10" - Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)
- Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers)
5'11" - Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks)
- P.J. Walker (Carolina Panthers)

Is his speed closer to Jordan Jefferson, or is it closer to JD5 speed?
80 yards of him running is a good sample serving for you to judge.
Geaux TIGERS

I like the Jalen Hurts comparison better. Deceptive speed but very strong. Feels good to have him onboard now. His stats are about to push him even higher up the rankings.

If you would read back two posts you would see that his father (Evangels QB coach) says he’s all LSU

The field level highlights don't do Houston justice. He looks elite from the up high camera highlights.

With Reliford being here, his Dad being a coach in state and trying to establish that pipeline and make those relationship's, I think he sticks. Not to mention Devin White is extremely close to the family. I thought it always made sense and wondered why it took this long honestly.
