Would be huge to get both of these guys. Close on Toviano and Ricks too and DBU is back like it’s 2010-2011

See my post above. Do you really believe this is why he was suspended?
If its because he was telling recruits not to go to a&m, then I would consider that worse than smoking weed in the locker room.
One of those things, while ill-advised, is legal in some states.
The other is openly sabotaging your team.

Seems like your mind is already made up about Harris, then.
I'll just trust BK to make the best decision regarding this player.
Nothing I've heard makes me feel the guy is definitely unredeemable, though. I like to keep an open mind, especially when I don't have all the information.

I could say the same about you.
The dude has been suspended indefinitely 3 months into his first season for three separate instances...that we know of... so forgive me if Im a little more realistic in my outlook for Denver Harris.
Now, Jacoby Matthews seems to have put in the work and is making plays while his school is playing for nothing. That's the guy the coaches should spend time on.

I mean, you said yourself it's possible the kids aren't being paid what they were promised. A&M is a total dumpster fire and probably a third of their freshman class wouldn't have gone there had they not backed up the brinks truck.
I don't know if Denver Harris is a bad egg, or if he's just not handling himself very well in a jacked up situation. I'll trust the coaches to decide that. All I know is he hasn't been accused of any crimes, so I'm willing to keep an open mind.
I'm really not sure how you're taking that as my mind is made up on him.

Keep them on a short leash

Because that's literally what you said about me. The coaches will do what they do, but even you can admit the kid is on the wrong path. We just dumped a bunch of kids that had his same mentality, so why would we go out and try to bring in what we just got rid of? That doesn't make any sense.
He has talent, but as of right now, it's not worth the headache considering he isn't even playing.

He seems to be a main part of this.
If the coaches want to take a chance nobody here is going to convince them otherwise. That leash needs to be about -6 inches long and any mistake he should just be gone.
ETA: BK has let players go for less...see dwight mcglothern.

Last time I smoked pot I was 17.

quote:Lol this is the best part. The kids have fully gsrunteed contracts. A&M will have to fork up the money or risk the kids talking and then their arse goes to probation for the obvious cheating they've been doing
doesn’t know how hard it would get out of the NIL contracts they signed with the Aggies.

McGlothern showed up late to his one on one intro meeting with CBK, gave attitude, and CBK showed him the door. If I remember correctly.

frick both of them. Stay the course with the type of recruits we are getting. Both out money over culture.

LSU should welcome any talented player that will make the team better

They had there chance. Sorry. Might be a issue getting out of that NIL deal
