It’s sad to see yet another young man lost to senseless gun violence. He was killed in Tennessee. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Good lord man what the hell is wrong with you? Does this impact my life or your life probably not. But to say he doesn’t really matter is insane he definitely matters to someone; like you matter to someone regardless of how shitty your post are on this topic.

If he'd have stated "black on black violance", it wouldn't have gotten as much play.

What about the people hit by cars? Is that senseless too?

If the person in the car intentionally runs over said person it is. Guns don't shoot people by themselves. It takes a depraved individual on the other side of it to do so. Senseless in 99% of cases. The ultra rare occurrence of a justified shooting isn't what's being discussed. I doubt there was a justified reason to shoot five people, killing one. If so, it'll come out and we can discuss that. Regardless there will be people defending it. They lack sense too.

Just want to make sure that it wasn’t the gun being used that made it senseless. Blaming inanimate objects solves nothing.

Political posts aside, yes, it's once again sad to see a young man's life snuffed out due to senseless violence. The kid had a future, and now he doesn't, that should upset anybody.

He was at a party with friends. Oxford to Memphis is 80 miles. Ole Miss is in the middle of BFE and rather boring outside of Saturday nights during football season. Same analogy why some LSU students go to NOLA for the weekend to party.

On the off chance that you have any idea what any of these words mean, I just wanted to note that "gun" is being used as an adjective, here, not as an adverb or as the subject of the sentence. It's referring to a category or type of violence, not describing action or naming the person, place, or thing that committed the violence.

Hope this helps!

Understood. Jealousy is rampant by thugs against athletes especially now with NIL money. Dudes hate when their “girls” start talking to the athletes. My thoughts about this sad situation.

And if they didn't have any guns how would they shoot people?

There are way too many guns floating around. 12 yr olds with automatic switches.

Killings occur because some men have evil in their hearts… they perpetrate evil on others.
They will use whatever object is at-hand to deliver their evil in ending lives … guns, knives, etc.
Never forget that only faith and belief and following the teachings of Christ does Man even have a chance.

Guns just make it much easier to kill people. Hence why thugs aren't roaming the streets with fricking rolling pins. Sure, I can kill a man with a rolling pin, but I could kill a dozen with a handgun.
