Agree BiggTiger. I think the second he gets to sub 4.5 in the forty then everybody in the country will be after him. I think he will given his youth. His ball skills are second to none. His sophomore film should be interesting to watch once it is out.

He is probably close to his adult height now, which is listed at 6'1", which may be in shoes. I don't think he projects to be the big WR type like Julio Jones or AJ Green, probably more like a Brandon Stokely type WR, but who knows when you are 15 years old.

He gets the sub 4.5 and yes the calls and letters will start pouring in. There are plenty of 6' recievers in college and the pros that do very well. But the speed is what seperates the good from the great. The ability to pull away on deep routes and quick restarts on double move routes. This next year is the make or break year for him. Alot of coaches and schools will be looking for the faster 40 time this year.

I would also like to see him get alittle more physical with jamming style corners. If he intends on playing D-1 he has to be able to get off the jam quickly and have the strength to get seperation.

I know for a fact that Trey loves LSU. If he gets an offer from LSU it's going to come down to whether he wants to play college football or pro baseball.

he's the real deal, and probably the second best baseball player in that class. kennon Fontenot is his qb and starts on the diamond as well

I talked to Desean Smith Barbe's tight end not too long ago and he said he was 95% sure he's going to LSU. Getting Kiel finally sealed the deal I think.

BarbeTiger and those that are closer, is Quinn going the football or baseball route? Which path do you guys think he will take and what is his best option? I guess it all depends on if we offer in either sport?

I'm about 99% sure that Quinn's Dad posts on here and in just about ever topic that comes up on Barbe or Trey. Maybe he will answer for his son.

I think it's too early to know for sure.
he has the talent to play both (effectively) for us

honestly, I feel he will take the money and play pro ball. I can't say I wouldn't understand

also, I don't think Fontenot would get an offer from us to play football, but most definitely baseball.
I could see him and trey both going pro
