2010- barksdale, Blackwell,hebert, Josh d, hardrick or
hardrick, barksdale,hebert,Blackwell, Josh d

after that we will have to see what happens in spring practice. But I suspect Collins locks down the LT position in either late first yr or 2nd year here

btw....faulk is practicing LG in practice right now....would be pretty beastly to have Collins and faulk side by side

my depth chart Is RT to LT at top of page

I really think Barksdale moves to LT next season, but I'll all for Faulk if he can step up.

I remember the Williford out of shape discussion during camp. I think it was only a day or so he was held out. I remember seeing pictures of him and he looked pretty athletic for an OL.

Also, I think we may see some really good position battles, even at Center.

Are we seriously getting excited about the OL?

You have no choice but to do so. This year has been rough, but they've improved as the year has gone on. T-Bob did a jam up job on fatass.

I really feel like this is going to be a strength of the team next year. Isn't center one of the most important position on the OL?

how-eva, it appears faulk is going to be our LT for the next 4 years, starting in 2010

Based on what? Have you heard some very positive news, or are you just speculating?

Haven't the coaches comments and all articles otherwise said Hardrick will come in immediately to replace Ciron?

My impression was that Hardrick was probably the favorite.

But, it would be nice for a young guy to step up.

Here's my uneducated guess:

2010:

LT: Hardrick
LG: Josh D.
C: T-Bob
RG: Blackwell
RT: Barksdale

The two on the left side could be switched, but Hardrick is expected to come in and start right away just Akeem Hicks was expected to come in and play right away.

2011:
LT: Hardrick
LG: Josh D.
C: T-Bob
RG: Blackwell
RT: Faulk

Also, I think once Collins is in the fold he'll be on the field by the time he's a RS Frosh. Not sure where, but somewhere. He's just gonna be too good.

and D line. Back to typical LSU standards, considering how porous they have been this season.

Hell yea he did. After the first couple of games this year I would break out in a cold sweat whenever I thought of Hebert going against Cody.

Did not hear Cody's name called much during the game. I saw him run on and off the field throughout the game, but I did not hear his name much.

Fixed it for you... The seismic scale @ Bama was registering all day.

I don't trust JUCO's.

Hell, look at the one from last year. He sucked so terribly, the coaches practically threw him off the practice fields.

Hardrick needs to get qualified to play at LSU before we can anoint him the next LT. He might end up being a better OG ala Herman than a LT.

I think Collins redshirts. We have the depth so he doesn't have to play immediately like Barksdale did. I think it's rare that an offensive lineman doesn't redshirt and its usually because of lack of depth, not due to talent.

2010:
Left Tackle:
Joseph Barksdale
Greg Shaw

Left Guard:
Josh Dworaczyk
Stavion Lowe
Cordian Hagans

Center:
T-Bob Hebert
Patrick Lonergan

Right Guard:
Will Blackwell
Clay Spencer
Josh Wilford

Right Tackle:
Jermarcus Hardrick/Chris Faulk
Alex Hurst

2011:
Left Tackle:
Jermarcus Hardrick
Greg Shaw

Left Guard:
Josh Dworaczyk
Stavion Lowe
Cordian Hagans

Center:
T-Bob Hebert
Patrick Lonergan

Right Guard:
Will Blackwell
Clay Spencer
Josh Wilford

Right Tackle:
Chris Faulk
Evan Washington
Alex Hurst

I'm not sure who will be moved to LT in 2010, but I think Barksdale gets a shot there first and then Faulk and Hardrick get a shot if he can't hack it in practice.

2010

LT, J.Barksdale
LG. J.Hardrick
C . J.Dworacyzk
Lg. T.Parsons/W.Blackwell
LT. C.Faulk

2nd

LT. M.Branch
LG. S.Lowe
oc. Tb. Hebert
RG. A.Hurst
RT. G.Shaw

RG. will be the major position battle between Blackwell, Parson, and Hurst. RT, will be a battle between Hardrick and Faulk, and im giving Faulk the advantage.

Miles, will play his best 5 lineman next year. This year they were young and not ready ,and he knew it. Howevever,it was his most athletic..It bit him in the but, cause athletic doesnt move the ball in SEC.

IF he is a good as the praise that has been lauded on him then screw redshirting him!!!
