Regardless of who starts, I think we will start to see the benefit of actually paying attention to the OL during recruiting. I think that's hurt us a lot. Sure we have all the talent in the world, but we have lost the battle in the trenches most games this year.

IF he is a good as the praise that has been lauded on him then screw redshirting him!!!

Almost all offensive lineman redshirt. I know guys like Michael Oher, Andre Smith, Joseph Barksdale and Eugene Monroe didn't, but that was more about the depth chart and the need for them to play. And a lot of those guys like Oher and Monroe played some snaps at guard before moving to tackle the next year. Barksdale was only a part time player with C. Stewart. Smith was a starter from day one with bama.

But, you look at guys like Jason Smith, Sam Baker, Justin Blalock and Eben Britton who were all highly ranked, but redshirted. I just think offensive lineman benifit too much from having that year to develop physically. And why start him as a freshman if you don't have to?

You think Dworacyzk plays center?

I could see Faulk or Hardrick playing guard, but over Blackwell, not Dworacyzk.

He might end up being a better OG ala Herman than a LT.

Herman would have been a better tackle had he not been 30 lbs overweight. Hence why he's playing that position in the pros.

He shouldn't considering his backup has more talent.

I think they can use them both. Faulk more on kickoff and punt returns and as a receiver out of the backfield. Collins more of an up the gut runner. Lets just hope Collins can stay out of trouble.
