Im thinking definitely not Miami now. Kids like to do this before real commit. Ive seen this tactic before.

No I think it's just next-level trolling.

Posted this earlier too. Unless Caden is going somewhere shocking (anywhere besides lsu or ou) than this is just him toying with anyone following the situation.

if hes just trolling to try and stir up drama which weve seen plenty in the past then I think its clear hes going to texas and just wants to make his commitment more exciting, texas is the safe choice that the family wants and prob offered him more money as well so the more I think about this the less confident im becoming, obv just my opinion, only been following recruiting like this in 2018 but these typa commitments never seem to go our way in the end.

The schools are making these videos for him. All 3 made 1.

Y’all need to quit hanging on to every word and post from these kids. Simmons loves the attention. He’s going to say whatever to get as many eyes as he can on him.

This. He screwed up and posted the Miami video, that’s why he took it down.

Billy Embody is feeling like he ends up at Texas. Said if he doesn’t get positive news on the LSU end sometime today he’s going to change his pick.

Hate to say it but we’ve been down this road before. This has Texas written all over it. I’m not getting my hopes up.

Texas ain’t letting a kid like that leave state. Just from an ego standpoint it ain’t gonna happen not now that it’s open pay for play

Been following recruiting for a long time. Usually, there are clues that can tell you about a recruits decision. There are always exceptions of course. But if you read through all of the Collin Simmons threads you can point to some clues that will lead you to believe LSU is not the pick.

Early on it looked good. He set a decision date off the heels of his LSU visit. Our insiders put picks in for LSU. Here’s where things shifted.

- Texas insiders, although less confident than before his LSU visit, reported a source in the inner circle told them it was still texas. One of them had switched their pick to lsu for about an hour and switched it back to Texas, which tells me it was still a fluid situation as of 2 or 3 days ago. And there’s still continued optimism amongst the texas insiders.

- In one of the threads someone reported that if he picks Texas then Kelly was done with him because of the games, which implies that maybe programs were being played against each other for more money and Kelly doesn’t play that game.

- Shea Dixon lowered his confidence level. Even though it dropped only 5 points from 60 to 55, it demonstrates something he was told that gave him pause about a commitment to LSU.

- Then you throw in the latest videos. The confusing Miami “commitment” video. May mean nothing, only adding drama, but it’s not a good look for a kid who is more than likely getting a very large NIL deal offer from each of these programs. There’s no reason to play games at this point.

I don’t know. LSU has finished second so many times on these top rated defensive linemen it’s hard to be positive about our real chances when two sides are confident. We tend to lose out more times than not.

I hope I’m wrong.

Honestly, I’m almost there myself.

Not gonna pretend like I wouldn’t still take this kid in a heartbeat but he does seem to be leading everyone on (not just fans but the actual staffs that are talking to him) and every day is another trolling from him.

It first felt like a kid just having fun with his recruitment but it’s starting to just leave a bad taste in my mouth with how “extra” he’s been about everything.

This guy plays college football fans like the really hot girl who has 100 guys trying for her. Gives no crap about any of them really and self indulgent.

I agree. All the hype following the LSU visit gave some hope, but as the dust is settling, I am becoming more and more confident that he will chose Texas. I have seen this scenario so many times with out of state kids, and I think the NIL situation and the fact that it's Texas, only makes this more unlikely for LSU. It's not just setting up the player with unheard of amounts of money now, but you may be surprised how they can incentivize the family through various means. I believe that his favorite school is LSU, but the other stuff is likely too much to overcome. Would love nothing more than to be surprised tmw.

Yeah, I've had enough of this kid. It was plenty exciting without the purposeful trolling of multiple fanbases by him. Just can't get enough attention, which is incredible considering how much there is.

Predictably, this thread is starting to resemble some of the Harold Perkins threads.

Some of you guys are way too soft to follow recruiting. Try not to take it so personally. If you're going to get butt hurt over a kid enjoying the recruiting process, maybe following recruiting isn't for you.

Maybe he was trolling after the splash (I don't think he was), but his interest in LSU, either feigned or real, probably earned him a significant bump in his NIL deal.

Not going to melt over this kid. No way was Texas going to let him leave the state. He’ll see he made the wrong decision when we kick Texas’s arse!!

If UT wasn’t in SEC we would get him. Not now.

He can play with a WINNER in LSU or play with a LOSER in Texas...Does he want to be a winner or loser? It's that simple!!!
