Texas was always going to pony up the money it takes. Simmons is an absolute cannot lose for Texas.

LSU could offer Simmons a billion dollars and Texas would go 1.1

Hopefully he gets on campus in November but this is a really hard battle for lsu to win.

Until there’s a cap on NIL we’ll see much more of this. Teams that haven’t had success in a long time will try to buy it. It is what it is.
