Very Impressive young man, extremely well spoken, polite. I can't believe this kid was born in 2007!

He spoke with such passion and respect for his next high school opponent. Sounds like a leader to me. Must be solid to do interviews about his commitment too!

Interview

Thank you.

I could give a shite of his race. I don't think I could have done interviews at age 15 and sound that well put together.

Damn, this is why we can't have nice things.

What an impressive kid. Good grief he’s so mature. On and off the field. Truly get the sense this kid is gonna be great and seems to have the intangibles and work ethic you dream of as a fan or coach

I agree with what many have said. He is impressive for 15 years old, hell, it’s impressive for 18 or 20 year old kids to sound like that.

I’m really playing devils advocate here with my critique and it’s this. He sounds so coached in these comments it’s almost too much and gives me pause. It’s like that person you’re introduced to and they almost are too nice and happy all the time that you wonder if it’s fake until you really get to know them.

Thumbs down, but I was just like really? Is this real from a 15 year old? He started the show by saying he wanted the interview to be fun and chill since people are in the car and listening on the way to work, but then every answer or comment was anything but fun and loose. It was all business/coach speak.

Just my in the moment thoughts, even though overall I was Uber impressed and happy to have this kid heading this way!

He’s a kid that’s been groomed for this his whole life, it’s not surprising that a prudent parent might’ve invested in some media training for the kid

I'm not going to say well spoken, because of the cliche. However, he sounds like he's 25. He's an impressive young man.

A year ago his own coach said he had a 25 year old mind inside of a 14 year old body. Very intelligent.

It's okay to compliment someone's intelligence without making it some sort of racial thing. He's impressive, period. And he deserves the compliments.

Wow! I did not expect that. Colin already sounds like a business executive.

Some of you will complain about anything. It’s being said in a proper context because this kid IS extremely well spoken in comparison with ANYONE his age or a few years older.

Just because some people frick up a phrase doesn’t mean it’s ruined for all time.
