Brian Polian will be visiting Tausili Akana
Brad Davis will be visiting DJ Chester
Mike Denbrock will be visiting Mac Markway, Brett Norfleet & Jaden Platt

Norfleet is 6'7 220 and listed as a DL. From the scouting report it looks like he projects more as a TE which makes since. Also a D1 baseball prospect. I wonder if LSU has interest in him for baseball.

He's a TE, was formerly a QB.

Our baseball coaches aren't following him on Twitter (the normal indicator that we're recruiting someone). But I can guarantee that conversations between the staffs are taking place. Jay Johnson and Brian Polian were at Nevada together and are friends/have a good working relationship.
Additionally, unless the scholarship situation for baseball changes between now and next season, it would be crazy of Johnson to turn down a high level arm that he wouldn't be footing the bill for.

Nah - Akana lives in Utah.
And, believe it or not, word is that LSU currently sits in a really good spot for this kid. He is just coming off his official visit back in late-September, and the staff is trying to maintain the strong momentum - thus, the reason why Polian is immediately being sent straight to Utah to visit Akana.
Sounds like Texas is the other program in Akana’s top group, and I am pretty certain that his sister is already a student there in Austin. Interesting kicker about the Longhorns, however, it’s been mentioned that Akana might not be a take for them.
From what I see of Akana, (by reviewing his “Jr. season” tape), kid is a damn good football player that could definitely play the Jack/OLB at LSU. I think he could be a very good edge-rusher in the SEC.
That being said, it doesn’t make much sense to me why he wouldn’t be a take for Texas….

He's coming for the Gump game so a call or two to keep him up to date on who they're bringing in with him, etc...
