But he looks pretty agile, not stiff. Not fast by any means, but, to me, he didn't look slow. But yeah, he probably wouldn't get separation from anyone with his speed.

I just want to know if he can block

He wants to stay at Clemson. He got plenty more years left there

Does he have the want to lay on the ground like a speed bump and actually slow someone down on the way to the QB??

Because if so, I'm in 110%

Bingo!
Moss did a lot of blocking and going to the hole in the zone 5 or 6 yards up field on 3rd down the whole first half of the season if I remember right.
That's what this dude looks like to me. Moreau progressing into (hopefully) Moss.
OC will know if/when there is a beneficial mismatch to take advantage of and when.
If he can block!

I said to say something smart. The whole post is based around him being in the portal and supposedly wanting to come to LSU.
But you say he wants to stay at Clemson? That's dumb.
Wait a minute... Are you Sally or Betty?

Any updates on whether or not we've reached out to him?

True, but I’m generally curious why at this point any kid would jump in the portal without a landing spot. You’re basically giving your scholarship away without a backup plan.

Could be he's just referring to the symbolic struggle between "calves" and "calves nots".

Clemson TE transfer Jaelyn Lay wants to come to LSU
I’ve been in contact with Jaelyn and he wants to come to LSU. He’s a big body frame ( 6-6, 260lb ) but he haves quick speed for his size and can catch the ball anywhere on the field

LINK

Great prospect, would be a great addition to the team. And he has the work ethic to graduate in 2.5 years???

Let’s hope they are talking.

I’m sold with that film. I don’t know what kept him off the field, but he looks good. Take him.

How good of hands did Thad Moss have? He had 6 catches before he came to LSU. We need bodies in the TE room. And the kid has potential.

Two catches in three seasons seems to say he can catch the ball anywhere but the field.
