I’m not sure about Citizen but apparently there is a rift on the coaching staff about Etienne. Apparently half the staff will only take him if he agrees to pronounce his name correctly, and our Yankee head coach says he can pronounce it in a Clemsoney way. Negotiations are ongoing.

We aren't and were never really going after Etienne

If he wasn't Travis' brother he wouldn't be as highly rated as is

Interested where else citizen would go.

We have a rb room with 2 unproven sophs (kiner, Goodwin, if they stay), Bradford who was eligible for 1 game.

He was committed to us, and wide open position room for PT

Does anyone think Emery will return for this upcoming season?

I do. Emery has always been pretty solid to support the team even when not playing. I think he'll be back. He's definitely needed.

Emory would be pretty short sighted to not come back next year. It just takes one break out year to get into the 1st or second round but he hasn’t done anything yet in college.

I hope you're right Roger, I believe he could be a different maker this season.

I appreciate Emery's loyalty.
But I haven't seen much to suggest he is a "difference maker".
Would love to see him break out, but...

Let Emery go along with Price if he wants to ho. Let’s start with a clean slate.

You didn't see much from Damone Clark in 2020 either, but how did that work out. You will be surprise what can happen sometimes with a lil maturity, and better coaching.

Disagree.
Price has shown the ability to contribute over the long haul and his loyalty to the program is proven.

TDP stepped up and was a leader this year, but I can’t imagine him coming back. As much wear as RBs take, especially straight ahead power runners like him, he needs to go ahead and get to the league. I wish him all the best.

Emery had academic issues, but there’s no evidence of him being a cancer or a distraction to the team. If he’s not a problem, there’s no reason to tell him to move on with our current roster shortages. He might benefit from the change in offensive philosophy. If not, then he will at least give us depth.

I just get the impression Emory seems slightly immature and/or not super motivated or hungry.

Kelly seems to favor faster backs like emery. I think emery could really flourish under Kelly if he can get eligible.

Honestly, immaturity usually goes hand in hand with academic issues, so you may be right. However, if he works his way back to eligibility, that would tell me he’s worth at least keeping on the roster.

That’s the worst kept secret in Jeff Davis parish. You would have better luck finding which Jennings Cop is the JD 8 killer than you do of getting him away from UF. He wants to live by his brother, heard the whole family relocating.

If TDP goes, he'll be a late round pick imo...

TDP just declared for the draft. Really need a grad transfer RB in my opinion. Or a talented freshman who can come in and play right away. Ideally Emery works his way back and matures knowing this is his money year. But either way, you need another back going into next year. It remains to be seen whether Goodwin, Kiner, or Bradford are good enough to carry the load.
