Does either of them play Nickel? If so, that would be great because that could allow Brooks to play a true Safety. It could also lead Zy and Denver at boundary

Believe Duce will play Nickel a bunch

Brooks played free safety pretty much this whole year.
He's good at free safety. He's better at nickel. He's a playmaker, and the closer you get him to the football the more good things he makes happen.

He needs to perfect his tackling skills better if he wants to play closer to the line scrimmage, but I do like him at nickel more than Sage Ryan. Sage should have been a running back.

I like brooks as a move around piece. Imo he doesn't have great range as a true free safety.
Sage ryan is the john emery of offense. He has all the athletic skills but doesn't know where to be or how to play the position.
I'd much rather him on offense.

Sage is still young, but may be better at safety.

I thought Harris was a field corner?

I agree on Sage. I think I made that same comment before about him being on offense because he is a huge liability on defense. He cannot cover anyone.

Nah Emery just needs consistent snaps and workload he’s shown what he’s capable of. Ryan gets burnt weekly and is slow footed against the faster receivers in the sec

I agree that emery has shown what he is capable of but there is a reason he doesn't get consistent snaps.
Sage ryan hasn't shown what emery has, i agree with that. Just look how long it has taken emery.
People will be saying the same thing about sage ryan in yr 5.
Emery is clearly the better talent.

If you analyze Ryan physically, what you'd say is he's probably best suited to play free safety. He's fast and athletic, but his hips aren't great and he's got short arms. He's not a good cover guy, so if he's going to play in the secondary he's probably best suited for a center field type role.
But here's the problem - your free safety simply cannot miss tackles. And Ryan misses tackles.
Ultimately what you want is to get guys who can displace him and move him out of the rotation. Because it's questionable how much better he's going to get.
Then again it's not like he's an upperclassman. What was he this year, a redshirt freshman? It's not outrageous to assume he can get at least a little better.

Sage seemed to have a ton of very tough catches made on him. I think he fell victim to being unlucky in some situations. I think if he has a good offseason and if every receiving he covers doesn’t do their best Randy Moss impression on him, he will be fine at the nickel.

I seem to remember him getting smoked regularly and just looked like he was covering better athletes. Supposedly, he’s a 4.45 type dude but maybe he’s just not able to play fast yet.
He was a RS freshman, so you would expect to see the lights fully on this year if it is going to happen.
