This is not an accurate or fair assessment of the guy. Those kids don't have much and he helps them with a ton of stuff in their life, and it's from his heart. I have had the opportunity to spend time with him, and he is a good guy.

A good buddy of mine coaches in that area of the state. Ask any coach around there about him. None of them can stand him. While he does good some good for the kids he is a snake in the grass. I have from a good source he got a one of the Tangi parish boys to quit another sport. His coach talked him into coming back and playing but stuff like that shouldn't be coming from a handler.

no way this guy is JUST trying to help the kids. if you take a job at Georgia and then bama, you have to know schools will try to push you to get these kids. in no way will the schools allow you to be independent and objective. you may be trying to help kids but you are trying to help yourself FIRST.

He reaches out to kids all over the parish. And the only kids he "helps out of the goodness of his heart" are the obvious ones that will play at the next level.

Kids from Amite and kentwood are infatuated with Alabama,

Why/How is this?

Local coaches don't like LSU?

The local barber that is "hip to the recruiting game" that brings these kids to all the camps and functions showed up to lsu camp last summer with Bama gear on.

He tells the kids to keep everyone else out of the loop. Parents, coaches etc.

Seems like he wants to be Willis lyles. Jimmy says he's cool. Who knows.

When Shyheim committed to Alabama out of nowhere, it added a level of tension to the relationship that has been hard to deal with at times on both sides.

You mean that time that he had Carter skip LSU's camp to go to Bama's and then complain that LSU hadn't offered him yet? No wonder there was tension.

He tried so hard to relieve the tension when he showed up to LSU with a bunch of kids and he was wearing Bama shite. I'm sure he was trying real hard to build the relationship that time.

Or what about the times that Carter was invited to LSU football games on LSU's dime, but he was bad mouthing LSU to everyone who would listen.

Sanders is a piece of shite. It's okay to say that about people that have shown they are pieces of shite.

Usually the people that try to cut you off from your established support system are always looking out for your best interests. Like cult leaders, they're always looking out for what's best for you.

I don't know these kids personally. I know I've paid for camps and stuff for some kids who couldn't afford it before. Don't know the details.

I'm not saying that he doesn't like Bama. That's not a secret and he will be the first to tell you that. But the guy isn't anti-LSU like everyone thinks he is.

I'm trying to think what is more anti LSU than "mentoring" elite lousiana athletes and pushing them to bama (whether he speaks negatively about lsu or not), and bringing them to LSU camps while decked out in bama gear...

Does he also mentor kids that could use it that aren't elite athletes? Or is that not as profitable for HIMSELF?

What exactly does a handler do and why in the hell does a high school player need one?

Here is a picture of a handler in the wild. It illustrates what their role is in nature. The recruit in this picture actually has two handlers, both seem to be about the same size in influence.

I know both of those guys well and they aren't one in the same. Totally different motives.

Thanks Lester I missed it. I was exhausted too, so I felt I struggled a bit. Either that or likely looked strung out on something. I was beat.

If I ever found out a grown arse man was trying to persuade my kid to keep me out of the loop about his future and telling him not to listen to me he'd be handling from a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Sounds like a snake.

So who pays him to take care of these kids? Could it be the REC? They do it out of the goodness of their heart too.
