i could see this being an argument, if it weren't for the fact that you can now have 105 players on a team... there's only 22 positions on the field... even with a two deep, that's 44 players... still 61 other options...
this proposal is a terrible idea...

They will play all conference games and sit out all the easy out of conference games

How do people not see the reverse of this happening? Star player plays 9 games and decides he doesn’t think team is going to make the playoffs so he shuts it down to transfer to a perceived contender the next season.

Why not give them 5 years of eligibility and keep current redshirt rules?
