If he’s serious about baseball and Jay Johnson wants him — gotta like our chances

RE: Jakheem Stewart:
I'd love for him to reclassify and join the 25' class, but he's probably going to require a massive NIL deal. I suspect with Underwood and the other big names we are pushing a really high amount into NIL for 25' and may not have the big bucks to throw at him this cycle. Maybe 26' is better for us with him as the centerpiece of the 26' class.
I could be wrong though. Maybe LSU has found enough money in the couch cushions to throw at Stewart too if he wants to reclassify.

-Rumors keep swirling about reclassifying but Shea thinks he would've done it by now. Not learning that way.
-Tons of smoke with a lot of teams such as USC, Ohio State and he's the top DL.
-St Aug kid and Frank is running point. I don't see them letting him leave the state. It could get ugly but at the end of the day LSU is the team to beat for Stewart.

Texas on Thursday for their BBQ and then expected to come over. We will see what happens. I don't know what A&M has planned but this is the last weekend before teams get ready for the season.

Not happy until they sign. Anything can happen

What I don't understand is Williams said baseball will play heavy into his decision.
How does that keep Oregon in the mix? I understand they had a good season this year, but with the move to the Big 10 I suspect the good baseball programs from the pac 12 will suffer hard.
What top rated baseball recruit is gonna want to go play against Rutgers, Iowa, Minnesota etc.?

1/5 I don't believe it until they sign on the dotted line.

Most think it’s A&M and LSU. The Oregon buzz was riding high off the visit.

Thanks for the cliff notes.
Jonah Williams will be a surprising pull.

LSU is the constant in this recruitment. Texas about to make their pitch on Thursday.

I get the sneaky suspicion we are in a really good spot for Williams. Not saying we get him, but the fact that we just keep hanging around bodes well for our chances. As for Stewart, one of his coaches at St. Aug said he will not be reclassifying because they don’t allow that at their school.

Are any of those 5* receivers or any other high level oos recruit coming to the splash?

DT also have trouble adjusting to College football physically and reclassifying cuts a whole extra year of development.
Unless you think there’s a chance he’d need all four years plus a redshirt year to adjust physically, this just isn’t a concern. Even if you don’t think reclassifying will get him to the NFL a year earlier (ie he’d enter the draft after 3yrs of college if he stayed in his current class but would need 4 if he reclassified) then the only difference is that he’d be getting 4yrs of college coaching/weights/nutrition instead of 3 college and one year of HS development. Either way it’s the same total number of years.
In any event, if you’ve seen this kid play, you know that none of this is really a concern. He is comfortably more physically developed than any of the DL in our 2025 class - and I’m not concerned about them. He’s definitely more ready than any of our 2024 guys were at this point last year. Honestly, he’s damn near the most physically ready DL prospect I can remember since myles Garrett. Unless you’re concerned that he’s not sufficiently mature to handle it, I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about a reclass getting him off track.

Yes I believe both French and Lockett is coming. Along with the 5* #1 safety in the country Jonah Williams in case you’ve missed that name in this thread.
