I have explained why numerous times
You've given your opinion numerous times but when it comes down to it you have no clue if Blacknall could have committed here if he wanted to.
Again, what we do know is he intended to commit, and didn't.
Tell me what other receivers we plan to take since you know for a fact how many spots the staff plans to use on them in this class and which ones could commit and have it accepted right now.

Keep telling yourself losing the best OL the last decade is no big deal
For a purely football stand point it really isn't as big of a deal as people will make it out. LSU will have someone at LT for the 3-4 years Robinson will be in college if he chooses to go elsewhere. And chances are he will be at worst decent. Think about last year. We moved Josh D, at 6th year player with a history of injuries and a former guard to LT to go against Jedaveon Freaking Clowney and what happened? Did Clowney have 8-9 sacks or even 1? He also played well against Bama. Why would you think some combo of Collins (may return in 14), Pocic, Hawkins, Clapp whoever, couldn't be good enough? You don't necessary have to have the best LT, he just has to be good enough. If you have a good offense (i realize that is by no means a given) it can make up marginal differences at LT or any other OL spot. A good QB can make up for a lot.
Now from a PR standpoint. It will be bad. Many of our fans will scream bloody murder. Bama fans will talk non stop shite and worse, the media will report that Saban and Bama stole the top player from La (again) that type of constant bombardment has a way of becoming a self fulfilling prophesy. Personally I'd rather if he picks Bama for him to wait. The PR damage would be less in Jan imo, especially if we are closing with a bunch of 5* guys.

CB doesn't have malice to LSU ....Saban does and he would want the decision to be made later....so that LSU wouldn't have time to replace him

quote:Exactly why Landon Collins' girlfriend (at the time) got a brand new Mercedes. Saban gives to non family members with influence.
Also, NCAA can easily look at family financial records to see how a car was acquired. Teams don't give cars any more. It isn't 1995, bro.

I agree, LF is much more important for this class. I tried to say that many pages back and was berated.

So since I get whacked for posting a new thread can we get a "everyone wait for Cam to decide before the meltdown" thread stickied?

I don't think anyone would argue with this.

crob has had to known for a while that sims would not being getting an offer from lsu, and that bama probably would offer him. Sims was going to bama if he got that offer. I think crob tried to get his buddy an offer, then commit to lsu, or why was lsu in the picture if he was going based on sims decision.....

Very well put and reasonable. Now GTFO!

Go frick a goat, you act like you have all the inside info but I think you are full of shite 90% of the time

Say he picks Bama on Friday. Is it a big "frick you" to LSU since they play the next day? Or he's committing the same day Bama plays on national stage?

You were berated for saying Miles was done at LSU if he didn't get LF.

Relax my man
LSU will have a solid LT regardless. Our O-line recruiting is lightyears better than it was a few years back.
