Caleb Williams Instagram Q&A Session pt. 2

Caleb's doing another Instagram Q&A session on @cfbstars page. Will update and add in the relevant questions and answers.
Q- "Does Brock Vandagriff committing to Georgia have an influence on you?"
A- "nah don't care. I'm not going to GA, I didn't like what they said then did. But its cool."
Q- "How do you like LSU?"
A- I like LSU and what Coach O does and has done"
Q- "what college has the best stadium?"
A- "LSU, PSU, Clemson"
Q- "Where are you considering?"
A- "Right now I'm still open, soon I think imma make a top list"
Q- "how you liking Cajun food?"
A- "Cajun food was awesome"
Q- "...favorite uniforms in all of college football?"
A- "...The LSU with the white helmet or PSU with the throwbacks"
My thoughts:
This is a battle between LSU, PSU, Clemson, Oregon, and Oklahoma. The fact that LSU keeps making these "analyst" hires that have former experience in quarterbacking or quarterback coaching is a sign that Coach O is setting this staff up for the future by recruiting QBs, which had previously been our weakness. The PGC hire will make the biggest splash, but all the other hires have been great so far. Let's ride baby.

He seems like a smart one, really hope we land him

PSU has worn throwbacks since it's existence

This seems to be a common theme with UGA, Kirby sells the world but fails to deliver.
I’m glad he saw through the b.s.

I think it’s safe to assume he’s ours to lose

FWIW, talked to a booster friend who talked to Williams down on the field pre game & Williams told him he was looking to play for the team that could get him to the pros ready to play. FWIW.

Hopefully more kids will start to see that Kirby is a fraud
His most effective recruiting tool is to negative recruit against the opposition. Funny bc I read so much about how wonderful Athens is and so on. Seems like he could sell his university on its own merits

Why would he go sit behind DJ for two years???

Oklahoma and Penn St are the contender... Clemson is behind us and the two listed above .... we’re leading

Just need the offense to show the same play calling ability. Make sure it wasn’t just Brady.

If he goes to Clemson he'll end up like Justin Fields. PSU is just average, he will develop better here. OU is a big threat because they develop QBs at a phenomenal rate. Their scheme man is the HC (Riley), so he is guaranteed to play in a good system. Hope he chooses us.

Which scares me a little because our strength next year really seems like it could be our running game with 3 stud RB's but I doubt its like LSU in the past and we still should throw a lot given Myles develops into what we think

If Caleb's thinking in terms of "go in and start immediately", it's probably Penn State, as their QB situation is one of the more cloudy ones.
Oklahoma is set up for the next few years with Spencer Rattler, Tanner Mordecai, and Chandler Morris.
Clemson's set up for a while with Trevor this year and DJ for the next 2-3.
Oregon's set up for a few years with Robby Ashford and Jay Butterfield coming in as freshmen.
LSU is set up for this year and maybe next year if Myles comes back for his final year of eligibility, pending if he has a great year and gets a high draft grade. I sincerely think Caleb has the talent to come in and compete immediately for the starting job with Max, TJ, and Peter (if he's still here at that point). Am I saying he wins it, no, I'm just saying he can compete for it. Not to mention, Caleb's only a junior currently and is already 18, as I believe he reclassified before high school. He'll be 19 by NSD next year, and will come to college older and more mature than most freshmen QBs.

Oklahoma is the real, legit threat.
Any QB would be a fool for not considering them.

We threw the ball this year even when we could run at will. I expect a more balanced attack but I think it will still be pass-first mentality

When was the last time they didn’t have a transfer?

I mean as an LSU fan I can readily admit that Athens is awesome. It’s not the cities fault that UGA hired a douche who can’t coach

When was the last time they didn’t have a heisman finalist? I’m a die hard LSU fan but if I had a 5* qb for a son you bet your arse he’s going to visit Oklahoma.
