Woodlawn BR kid, been playing varsity since 9th grade.
Lit up a combine a week or two ago and is now rated as the top corner in state. He’s like 6’2 already and still growing. May outgrow corner, who knows, his dad is like 6’7
Offers starting to roll in, fla st, Notre dame
The qb same class is starting to get sec offers too

He's a really solid kid as well. That '23 class at Woodlawn is stacked. Marcus Randall and staff are doing work.

That is definitely a probability. Heck, if he grows past his dad, basketball may end up being his primary sport.

LSU is watching him hard, just haven't pulled the trigger. Watch we wait until BAMA offers then we try! Im hearing BAMA offer is coming soon. His dad is former LSU and SU player Roshaun Matthews and he is 6'4. His brother is playing at McNeese St now. Woodlawn has about 6 kids that should be going FBS QB Rickie Collins, OL Roy Brackins, WR Tramon Douglas, Clayton Adams Devin Jones DL and a Fresh NG 6'4 325 Cedric May

Aww man 6’7 sounds better. But yeah i wouldn’t be shocked to see them start making some serious playoff runs they’re loaded.

OP says dad is 6'7.
Either way, it's tough to offer if your worried he'll be 6'6. He can't play SEC dB at that height
So, would he be able to bulk to lb'er or just switch to basketball.
Obviously his athleticism is good enough for whatever he grows into

The bone structure on that kid does not look like a cb. Look at his elbows. Looks like a future LB or rush end.
