Newberg is like an On3 Fong…. Fong is more notorious of course due to his tenure but Newberg is a great one.

True, but it’s very uncommon for QBs to flip after their commitment. Raiola, who flipped fro OSU to UGA, is the only one I can think of from this class.

This. Once a top 3 QB in a class makes their decision, it’s rare for them to even keep looking around. If he commits and we don’t have any staff changes, it should be locked in as long as we take care of business.

Also one of the top QBs last year who was committed to Oregon then flipped to UCLA. We recruited him and he visited but nothing ever came of it.

I believe this was due to Nix announcing he was coming back and the UCLA kid didn't want any competition. Also UCLA had announced their jump to the BIG and Oregon hadn't yet
