Brian Kelly can't recruit at LSU

He just doesn't fit the culture. Our #4 class ranking is just a coincidence. BK will find a way to mess it up the second he starts trying to discuss gumbo or etouffee with some of these kids. There's no reason to believe that Orgeron couldn't be pulling these kids as well.

this narrative create by ND is one just to cover their asses because until they admit the problem with ND is NOTRE DAME, nothing will change unless they hit on every single recruit in each class for 2-3 classes...
I will die on this hill preaching this but their last sustained success before BK was the Lou Holtz years and he had something none of the other coaches had...10-20 extra schollys to work with...
When they won it all in '88 I believe that was the last year at 105 scholly and by '94 it was 85 schollies...
Lou Holtz last 3 years after the 1993 season of going 11-1 was 94 - 6.5, 95 - 9-3, 96 - 8-3 and he then walked away from a life time contract he had there, he won't admit it, but its because he knew he couldn't pull the same success with only 85 scholarship players...
ND only had 2 10+ win seasons before BK got there and brought them 7 of the and 5 in a row...
Those 10-20 extra scholarships made up for their disadvantage with their academic standards to get the number of WRs and RBs necessary to win it all even if they missed out on some players...with 85 schollies that can't afford to miss on hardly any recruit

TBH I listened to that over and over and I heard nothing even resembling any accent anywhere. Sounded more like he fumbled in a word while speaking to 10,000 approving fans.
I mean if he wanted to do an accent, why only one word? Makes no sense. But anything to be anything…

This exactly. Winning at Notre Dame is much harder than they want to admit.
