LINK

Has anybody seen this kid play live? On film he looks pretty solid. Quick release, good foot work, could use a little more arm but he was only a junior in the highlight. I'm not sure whether to think he's flying under the radar and some of the scouting sites are just dropping the ball on him or he just looks good on film and isn't as good as his highlights suggest.

Must be under the radar!
He looks great to me
Fearless, great touch, very good accuracy, with some work he could be elite.

Les may not like his "skill set".

He's been STM's passing QB since his soph. year. He's pretty solid.

Prostyle QB, a little undersized.

I doubt LSU will offer.

Doesn't look like he's got much of an arm.

I'm almost shocked none of the national scouting sites have nothing on this kid. Rivals has him listed but nothing on him. It says he's 6'2 so i don't see him being undersized.

I'll be even more shocked if LSU doesn't offer this kid. He seems like a legit qb prospect. He's the Matt Flynn mold.

I wouldn't. LSU has a bunch of QB's on the radar right now.

It will pick up for him now that the 2012 class is in. I think he looks good for a junior, could be as young as 16...he will get stronger. At 6'2" and probably still growing he will get D1 looks...Good Luck kid...

The receiver #17 in the video is LSU baseball commit Andrew Stevenson

Popular thought from insiders is that the Rummel kid is who the coaches feel is the best qb in the state.

Other guys on the radar, coaches may take 2 qbs so he could very well get an offer. Plus after the coaches get these qbs to camp we will know more on which ones they favor.

He's not 6'2". Sat next to him at the Auburn game. He's not 6'2".

6'2 is only what he's listed as, we all know how that can be a little inflated

STM played Evangel on Cox sports this past season. He looked great in the second half. They set up the run and then throw deep. Like LSU did with Lee. The WR (LSU baseball commit) caught a couple of deep passes from him in the second half to extend a small lead into a big one. If I remember right someone from that area said Bama was on him this past year. May have been Darrysomething? Whoever it was will show up in this thread for sure.

The QB who was at Alexandria, C.J. Gatlin, looked good last season too. They beat East Jefferson in the 1st round of the 2011 playoffs.

Looks like Gatlin had 2452 yards passing (169 256) had 21 TD's with 10 INT's. Maxpreps

He is about 6'2. I am 6'4 and he is about 2nches shorter than me

The STM offense was run heavy with Matt Flores splitting time at QB with Bergeron.

Flores is gone, the STM defense won't be as good as this year so expectations are Bergeron will have a big year. STM has some very good WRs coming back and speculation is they will have to get in shoot outs to win.

So Bergeron should put up huge numbers.

He is a film study nut, he can make all the throws, he is a decent runner and he has full command of a fairly complex HS offense.

Bergeron will create more buzz in recruiting after he goes to some camps this summer. I would expect Tulane, LaTech, TAMU, Houston, Baylor, Moo State, Ole Piss etc to be on him very heavily.
