According to 247's recruiter rankings for this year, Coach Peveto is ranked #3. Props to the entire staff for their awesome job so far for the '16 class, but gotta give a special thanks to coach Peveto for the work he's put in

Totally agree. After watching that train wreck "Malveto" Defense in '08, I wondered why on Earth he was brought back. I have certainly found out why

I know they wanted to see how he did at the Baltimore camp and reevaluate after. Here's the result. Still a great athlete and I could give a darn about these rankings as long as our coaches think they can turn these recruits into special players I'm good.

Although it is a little bit more of a deal because Joyner was the #1 overall prospect in the nation at one point. But who knows maybe 247 and ESPN don't want LSU and FSU to horde most of the 5*'s

A friend of mine who worked with the team for years spoke very highly of his coaching and how the players responded to him. While I don't know the ins and outs of what he's getting done on a day to day basis, I was told that he was, in fact, brought back because he's a very good coach.
