Very nice get, allows us to build depth on the D-Line for the future and develop these guys. Nice get for the Tigers!

6'3 340 DT/NT. Raw, but a massive guy that moves pretty well for his size.

All I know is that he was committed to A&M and LSU still pursued the kid. We offered and he decommitted. So between O, Jenkins, Meatball and Aranda they wanted this kid.

That's good enough for me.

He's huge, agile, quick, a little bit nasty and appears to have a great motor.

Yippie. That 15th ranked class is coming together

I'm not a huge Orgeron fan by any means but you do realize that the point of this class is to rebuild the depth on the defensive and offensive lines right? They can't all be 5 stars when you're trying to build depth. If you have some illusion in your head that every single class is going to be stacked full of five stars then you're setting yourself up for disappointment. It's a down year for Louisiana in overall talent and that results in lower ranked classes in general. If they finish in the teens in 2019 when it's a huge year for Louisiana talent then we have a problem, but building depth on the lines is a huge need for this team and they are filling them.

ETA: Also, there is no way you know they aren't finishing in the top 10. If they finish with some of the guys they are supposed to be finishing with this class will easily be top 10.

This guy is extremely athletic for someone his size. O is really committed to fortifying the trenches.. I like the big physical kids the staff has targeted in last year's class and seem to be continuing in the same direction this current cycle .This dude plays with some serious aggression!!

The best thing in his write-up is "massive size with good pad level." I'm good.

His offer list may be low because he isn't the prototypical dlineman most people want. He has the size and strength to be what a team needs in a nose guard. He will take up space and occupy blockers that will free LB's to make plays. 3rd and short will be difficult for a team to run up the middle with this guy there. He probably won't be making a lot of individual plays, but his presence will open opportunities for other players to make plays.

I'm not disagreeing with You, I'm strictly saying his offer list does not impress me but as others have mentioned, if Aranda, O, and Meatball love him then frick it.

I will counter by saying that Ohio State, Bama, and Clemson always seem to have 4 star players be their "backbone" for their championship runs and they get the overwhelming majority to stay 4 years.

My only question is, "Is he better than the Rome, Ga kid we just lost?" It seems obvious that our coaches think so.

True. We have Fehko and Shelvin eligible for 2018 so they are essentially class of 18 players. Livingston doesn't need to start day 1, but he is going to be nice depth and can develop into a starter. With Alexander(339), Shelvin (360) and Livingston (340) we have some massive dudes on the DL to go with Lawrence and others.
