I don't know how well he would do getting off of a jam, but he sure is a good looking kid on the move.

I just talked to my brother who follows recruiting pretty thoroughly also. We both came to an agreement that there has to be something up with grades.

The kid is 6'4 has decent speed, and great hands. How does he not have a bigger rivals rating when the QB for the team is a 3 star? They have obviously seen him in the film when they evaluated MaGee.

I like him alot and wish he would take a grayshirt but that would just jam us up with wrs next year when we already have Avery Johnson in the fold with Dural,Bourque and others out there.Huge numbers issue with Briggs. Can't take them all unfortunately.

We need a Big WR, but Armand Williams will come into his own the next year or so IMO. He has amazing hops as well

Probably because he was mostly a non-factor as a Jr. He was the third reciever and only had about 300 yards in 15 games. He had better numbers this year but SEC caliber recievers should be dominant on the High school level. He's not.

He is this year's Armand Williams. Very good chance for a greyshirt, with 2012's LA talent being a little lower.

Grades are no problem he had the best grades on the football team.As for being high caliber it's very hard to do when they had the weapons they had.Terrance Magee-Josh Robinson-Reggie Wilson-Vince Wilson. That's Just the few!! play makers everywhere When his # was called he made it count and was dangerous.A year or two from now ill say told ya so

Thanks Mr. Briggs!!!

I'm glad it's not a grades thing. I hate to hear of talented kids held back b/c of lack of academics.

Reggie and Vince Wilson are 5'8 and aren't D1 prospects. Magee and Robinson have SEC offers. The other big reciever from last year was better and he didn't sign anywhere that I'm aware of. One of the Wilson's (don't remember which) doubled Briggs' production last year. Franklinton hasn't exactly played a top tier schedule the last 2 years either and he isn't facing double teams with teams focusing on Magee and Robinson. He should've put up better numbers.
