I know we have a baseball thread, but this is too big for just that thread:

Hit .314 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs last year at Air Force. Also went 10-3 with a 2.73 ERA with 96 Ks in 85.2 innings.

LSU STACKED!!! SEC frickED!!!

This is badass.

I have a few procedural questions.

1) If he's pitching, we let him bat, right?

2) If he's in the batting lineup and is pitching, when he gets replaced on the mound, can he stay in the batting order as DH?

3) If he's not pitching that game, do we let him DH?

I would think so, but that would depend on Jay. He might just want to let him focus on the mound when he starts.

Yes. College has had that rule for awhile now and the MLB recently adopted it as the Ohtani Rule

Yes. I doubt he plays much catcher here with the four we have in Milazzo, Travinski, Neal and Jones, and Jay may just not want him behind the plate on his days off from the mound

I did not realize the military academies could transfer. I thought your enlistment started when you enrolled but I guess it starts after you graduate.

It happens after you complete your second year and start your third.

If you leave before you start year 3 you don’t have the military requirements

Most of the people going there are trying to go in as an officer(4 year degree).

JJ took every loss this past season personally it’s seems. Not only did he assemble a great recruiting class but just about every big time transfer found his way to Baton Rouge. Really unbelievably job by him so far.

Damn! Johnson bringing gorilla ball back. I'm not sure I remember a better offseason bringing in players. We're gonna have some serious talent coming off the bench.

No doubt, but if you have aspirations of playing professional sports, exiting before the start of your 3rd year gets you out of the military obligation.
