Hate that for us. One i wished we were after.

Not sure why we aren’t pushing hard for a portal QB to start over Nuss

There was no way he was going to come and sit for a year. Plus, I'm not sure how good of a passer he can be as he'll be a project but wants immediate playing time. Perfect for an Auburn team that can struggle/grow with him next year with no lofty expectations.

Edited: nevermind, I reread your post. You are retarded to think Arnold is better than Nuss. Also, there might be no returning qb better than Nuss let alone in the portal.

Come on, man, it’s been beaten to death. You’re not going to get an SEC starter to come in and sit behind Nussmeier. Get over it.

Jackson Arnold's passing has been questionable at best. Could be because OU had all those WRer injuries. Having said that, I have never been impressed with this decision making and his ability to scan the field in a timely manner. He wouldn't be on my wish list as an LSU QB.

Because we need a serviceable back up not a starter.
Nuss is, or near the best QB returning in the SEC.

If you watched Arnold at all this year you would not even make this post. Not sure why you would even bring this shite here. Nuss is better than 90% of LSU QBs the last 25 years. Did he make mistakes? Yes but you knew he was a gunslinger and he did what he did with a non-existent running game. Just accept the fact that he’s our QB

If Mr. Backfoot, Scared in the Pocket, No Running Ability is LSUs starting QB next year then I hope yall are okay not making the Playoffs again.

I believe in Hurley. But compared to Nuss specifically, Arnold was more enticing to me. Fernando Mendoza from Cal would maybe be my top choice. He’s easily ready to lead a team like LSU. Great leader and QB. The kid from FSU is the highest rated QB and seems like a dual threat, don’t know anything about him but I’d take that too.

We need a dual threat QB. The ceiling is capped with Nuss.

Mendoza would be awesome

I agree but it's not always who's better overall but who's better for the system we want to run. It was pretty obvious watching games this season that Nuss and the offensive system we prefer do not match. Sloan and BK want and need a qb that can move to properly run the system effectively. Not about talent but fit.

I'm not sure Arnold is that guy either btw. He got paid off the Bama game. In thar scenario Auburn is a good match. They seem to enjoy throwing money away.
