he's pretty big with a decent frame, and he's slow. he looks like a TE candidate to me

How many times have you seen him play?

Comment from Arkansas fan on his youtube vid:

This kid has SEC redzone beast written all over him. The Lucas comparison is a good one. Big, physical, seems to have good hands, and that vertical leap is just sick. I hope he decides to be the next in a growing line of talented WRs at Arkansas. If he is indeed a hard worker, he will find his way into Petrino's good graces and the starting lineup sooner rather than later. I don't see how he's flown under the radar so long, very underrated by all accounts. Call those Hogs Mr. Williams!

Looks like they were excited to have him.

but how about Ware from Ohio, Maclin from Tennessee, Lee from Texas, Washington from Texas, Gibson from Alabama, etc.?

Thanks for helping to make a point.

The fact that you never heard of him speaks volumes about you rather than Miles.

Williams is a better prospect than Bates, IMO.

If hes a 4.5 guy though, I'm a 4.3 guy...

And I don't think Wright is as slow as you think. Hes definitely faster than Williams. I could see Williams a TE prospect before him.

What is really sad about that list?
La Tech, MsST and Ark gave us ALL we could handle last fall.
And that was DESPITE having the Miles "highly" ranked recruiting classes.

When was the last time THE LSU needed to recruit 3 star wide receivers to meet their need? I see a downward spiral here. I am happy for anyone who wants to play for us, and I think he has a great oppurtunity now, but there are lots of kids who never gets this chance even though they are die hard tiger fans. So we can and need picky.

Edited it for you

Wow some of you think that if LSU is not getting commitments from 4 and 5 star players, you think the program is in a downward spiral. I hope that we look back at this post in 4 years and Armand is All Sec. Welcome Armand!

I'm not one to really project position changes or whatnot, but could it be with Jacobs coming in this weekend and maybe looking more like an OL or DE prospect with the added weight, that the staff may look at Williams as someone they can add some more weight to his frame to move him to TE to fill Jacobs' spot? Or do you guys think he's locked in as a WR?

definitely

he is relatively tall and can go up for balls. now after that, i don't know what he'll be able to do

wright is really good with the ball in his hands, even though he's not fast

Janzen, Marsh, Debose..... all three i consider big fish. I would bet the house on the only reason these kids didnt end up in purple and gold was because their family made the decision for them. This has nothing to do with lsu and les ability or inability to recruit.
