We have like 22 portal commits

And of those 22, over half are coming from spots where they will get a lot more money than before just based on rev share. I doubt we are emptying the bank on every kid like this board believes.

Seaton is likely a top 10 pick in 2027... the money will be there for him.

Maybe he wants to go to a contender and get out of Colorado

It’s 2026.
Number of portal commits isn’t really relevant. It costs just as much money to retain talent.

How does that compare to the guys we had on the offensive line this season?

well, he gave up 7 pressures in 9 games.

DJ Chester gave up 5 pressures in 9 snaps vs Texas A&M when they put him in at LT lol.

He played pretty good as a true freshman too. Looks like he's looking for more money. I'd 100% offer him.

Good against the pass but struggles in the run game. I’ve watched him plenty the last 2 years

Those grades are very accurate

We missed on Chazz and it looks like we'll miss on Damon Wilson, too.

Not having an elite edge and some speed / depth at OLB is going to lead to ppl blaming Baker next year for scrambling qbs i can already hear it

We already locked up our one good lineman from last year to play center

Hopefully reliford makes the jump

It’ll most likely be him and the kid from Tennessee starting

Colorado itself is terrible at run blocking. I realized watching LSU the past 4 years that run blocking relies way more on scheme than I ever imagined. The difference in rushing with Denbrock and with Sloan was night and day. The RBs averaged over 5 yards a carry in both years with Denbrock (5.37 2022, 5.48 2023), but averaged under 5 yards a carry with Sloan (4.59 2024, 4.43 2025).

This is why I say LSU fans that are harping on Wilson and Davis are completely dumb. A RB coach can't make a RB regress if he's teaching him the same shite that he teaches every RB. It was mighty arse convient that the pass blocking in 2024 was good (all the same guys from 2022 and 2023 minus the center), but the run blocking fell off a cliff.

what about the Desir twins from Fla St? anyone got a break down of those two? i don't know much about them, but they are intriguing, given their size and rankings out of HS as well as current portal window...
