Morris Claiborne 3 stars. He's only a finalist for the best DB in the country. i wouldn't put alot of stock into stars and ratings.

And russell sheppard was 5 stars. Granted he still ha a couple to years to shine, it's just further proof that the star system is flawed.

Are you crazy? Rivers will be 2 years ahead, likely he will train Kiel.

1 year ahead, and Kiel is better now than Rivers is with a year under his belt. Go see who Rivals compares Kiel to

That means nothing. 5 star QB's are busts more often than not.

Not too worried about it

That's a trade-off I wouldn't mind making

That would be ideal. We would 1. get a better QB, and 2, have a new scholly freed up. I like the swap.

Except we'd be down to 3 QBs.. Not a situation you want to put your team, and with what happened in 2008, not something Miles will do.

We're going to continue to have 4 QBs from now on as long as we can get them to sign. Nothing frees up.

I never understood why people hate on the "Star Rating System" so much. Its not perfect, but its a good way to to judge the value of the player. Of course there are situations where kids are busts, where kids are under rated, and situations where the stars are accurate. It just gives you a good idea on how good the player can be.

Saying Shep is a bust is laughable. If you put Peyton Manning at TE, he'd suck too.

People tend to forget that RS was recruited at QB. He was a QB on EVERY recruiting site and was a damn good one in high school. They moved him once he got to campus because he wanted to play early and help the team.

You people are delusional. Why would any backup quarterback decide to leave LSU. I starter I can understand leaving but not a backup. LSU football is going to be so good next year that the backups will be put in to start the second quarter and sometime will start just to keep from embarrassing all of our opponents. Book it the second string quarterback will have more yard passing than the starter.

Sort of like this year!

QB Dayne Crist is transferring from Notre Dame. Wonder how, if any, that will affect Kiel?

This is an interesting question, but it's too early to even predict--it certainly cannot be ruled out as at least a slight possibillity.

zero, daynes been planning a transfer for weeks now; he was never going to be competition on the depth chart next season.

NDs QB depth chart next year reads: tommy rees (JR), andrew hendrix (RS SO), everett golson (RS FR)
