Just read up on this article about Texas commit Bijan Robinson who says LSU is still in contact with him for the 2020 class. I'm glad to see we are seeking out the best talents.

This guy may be even better than Evans, I saw a stat like he has 22yd/carry this season but Lathan Ransom is his teammate and he is committed to tOSU but you never now either way Evans or him we will be happy

He mentioned in the article that Ohio St coaches are always contacting him as well as LSU coaches. He wants an official visit in November if he can schedule it. He also says Lathan is in his ear hard about going to Ohio St. Time will tell if there is more to come...

I have a good feeling he will not end up at Texas with all the shite going on over there. I dont think he'll come here though. We're a longshot.

I know the coaches know what and who they want but his film is boring. His highlights aren’t exciting at all nothing jumps out to imo. Give me Gibbs, Evans or Achane in that order.

It's great we will probably get 1 5* RB Evans or this guy, I really think Achane would be an Alvin Kamara spark plug.
The one thing we really need thoug is two stud OTs

You'd want Gibbs over Evans?

Unless LSU has seriously done work behind the lines all signs point to Ohio State.

Go and watch his (Gibbs) mid season senior highlights and you tell me who would you prefer. Gibbs has better vision, more explosive, and is a patient runner sets up his blocks well. Gibbs is a dynamic playmaker. Now Evans does display good vision at times and overall he’s a good take, I want him but not over Gibbs.

watch Achane highlights. Would be a perfect fit for this offense.

Until last night I would have completely disagreed with you. All OSU insiders are saying he probably won't end up at Texas. Some said it would probably be USC as he has family there and they were in the running the whole time. This morning there have been some who say the door may still be slightly open for OSU.

No clue how this turns out

It's been a vague and perplexing cycle with the top RBs.

I've watched both, and I'm not arguing. It was just a question.

Gibbs looks faster than Evans. However, Evans is doing similar things against better competition. Anyone know Gibbs' 40 and 100 times?

Both guys look very good. Gibbs is probably underrated. However, without seeing them against similar competition, I'd go with Evans if given the choice. He screams future 1st round pick.

The Gumps have fallen in love with Gibbs since it started to look like they were not going to get Evans. I think that some of that has led to the perception that Gibbs is better. I'm not buying it at this time.

I agree after hearing about Gibbs so much I finally watched his and Evans highlights. Gibbs is electric and I think he’ll do good things but Evans does the same things and he’ll run you over if you get in his way. And that’s while playing in one of the top football division in the country (Texas 5A). I’m going with Evans

I didn't even realize Bama was so hot on him, I personally think people are high on him because his highlight tape is awesome. Though camp results, workouts with the coaches, intelligence, work ethic would probably give a better evaluation, most of us dont have that sort of experience with recruits. So even though Gibb's highlights look like the best RB this cycle to me, I don't know if he is the best recruit.

I've been talking about this guy on this board ever since he committed to Texas. This guy would be perfect in our offense. He's Helaire, but bigger. Very shifty (ETA: wow auto correct ) with power.

I still like Gibbs the best out of all of them though.

Achane looks too small to me. He'd be nothing but a gadget player/slot back here.
