Well, I am not very hopeful that this will shake out over the next few days. Unfortunately for LC, he will probably figure things out in the spring when its far too late.

when you're 17/18 years old and in a "serious" relationship like that.. she has him by the nuts. Hes gonna follow that arse. His g/f (and saban) know what they're doing. LC's mom wants him to go somewhere where he can start right away > go Pro, > provide for his family... instead of going with his g/f to gumpville to take care of her. Hes love drunk on a girl.

I do not want any part of Landon Collins at LSU regardless....he will never play one snap for Al'bama..... as they say it over there....

.. i wouldnt say hes psycho.. hes young and naive and stupid. 6 years from now when hes got kids and no money hes gonna realize how stupid he was to allow a girl to play a major influence on his decisions regarding his future (if the story is true)

I'd take him at LSU in a heartbeat. The kid is a baller.
Secondly, the mom's main thing isn't starting right away. It's allowing him to play safety and the fact that his younger brother will be a LSU Tiger as well, so she can watch her kids play. According to the article, playing on the same team with his brother was important to Landon until his gf changed his mind.
Either way, I hope he signs his LOI on Feb 1 to play somewhere so we don't have to keep reading and hearing about this. It's not going away but at least it won't clutter the boards.

If he was going to LSU he'd be a sure fire All Pro, yet some how at Bama he'll never play and won't even make the NFL.

But you guys are over reacting. Its silly to say this kid will be a failure in life (which 23 with kids and no money implies) simply because he decided on Alabama over LSU because his girl is going there. It makes you sound petty. did you even read the frickin interview?? his moms beef with the whole situation is that she raised him in a family environment and wants him to be close to her, his family, and his brother... but his g and money hungry family swooped in and took that away from her
