ALOT of smoke about Ohio State RB Treveyon Henderson potentially transferring

For those that don’t know Henderson has been a superstar for Ohio State, as a freshmen he had 1,248 yards rushing and 15 TDs and was a Heisman candidate.
He had some injury issues this year, but still averaged 5.3 yards a carry. It seems the other Ohio state RBs have really broke thru so there is smoke from the Ohio state side about him leaving.
If he does end up transferring he should be a very clear target. He’s a top 10 RB in the country when healthy.

Damn thats big. Suprised he would be scared off by other rb playing good, he is a game changer. Figure there is more to it than that but he would look great in P&G.

we need a big time threat at the RB position

Jesus. That’s a game changer and quite telling about the current dynamic with Ryan Day and Ohio State, considering he’s one of the elite runners in the nation. He will be a first round pick come 2024, dude is insanely talented. If I were him, I’d strongly consider LSU, especially with the way Kelly, Davis, and company are establishing that offensive line.

Quite often, the younger guys with little wear get the nod

Would be a monster pickup. Expect every team with a pulse to be after this dude if it happens.

Might go to Michigan.

Has a good relationship with Luke Fickell. Look out for Wisconsin.

Then give us Braelon Allen

That's from Allen recently. He could head to USC.

I've been saying lsu is going to go after a top back out the portal.
Don't think it will be either allen or henderson. Still think they get a good back.
Hopefully armoni williams comes back. I'm still high on him as a player.

Is that speculation or is he actually considering SC?

Henderson was somewhat of a Heisman candidate during the pre-season.

It was rumored earlier cuz he started following the RBs coach at USC a little while ago. But yeah its speculation on my part.
Talking about Allen not Henderson

Hmm that’s interesting, good eye there

quote:Let's be honest. He could transfer here and we would still only give him maybe 5-8 targets a game. After watching this year, I don't trust the running game planning here.

quote:don't know, but I realized vs Michigan that it doesn't matter who they have at RB, they were great. The guy Traynum that played vs Michigan rushed 14 times for 83 yards. If they fed him he could have easily rsckex up 120-150. That guy switched from RB last year to LB this year because their stable was crowded.

Henderson's immediate backup played way better than him this year even when he wasn't hurt. The t4ue freshman had a 100 yard game when they fed him in the Toledo game, he ran for 70 at 5 a carry vs Michigan St on the road, had another 100 yard game vs Indiana, and when he was the lead man vs Maryland he ran for 146 and 3 TDs averaging 5.5 a carry.
I've watched all of em, and that group is deep and nasty.
Maybe there is something else, but basically, that thing is loaded and maybe he doesn't know if he will get a good enough share next year. My hope is if he does leave, he isn't a Bama bandwagon type of guy.

quote:Nope. They already got Edwards who is next in line for Michigan to run into the ground. They've done that with the last several RBs. Plus that Stokes kid is good over there too.
Might go to Michigan
Like someone said, Fickell at Wisconsin, but that's only if Braelon Allen leaves. He was a transfer to Wisconsin who ran for 1130 yards and 10 TDs in 11 games there.
I think LSU has a shot if they offer, but I think he knows the NIL money will be insane and he's going to the highest bidder because he's that good of a RB.
ETA: him going to USC makes sense too with NIL.
