I know CFB is different now and Lane had to do what he had to do at Ole Miss with the transfer portal, but he had some good recruiting classes when he was the HC of USC. When he has a big name on his chest he can usually recruit with the best of them.

The kid was at every home LSU game this season and was in LK’s office within an hour of him landing. Not sure what his deal would be except wanting to double check who his dline coach will be.
