Nearly 40 TD's. 2500+ yds, 5-A Offensive MVP

He could be a really good DB or RB.

Perhaps if he'd taken care of business in the classroom like he does on the football field, that would have happened already.

has to be a grades issue, because you don't put up over 2500 yards as an RB at carencro and not get one scholarship offer.

I've heard he's getting his grades in order.

And prominentwon stop being a fricking hater you don't know this kids situation.

Keiland Williams wasn't exactly Einstein.

I know Keiland had bad grades coming out of high school but that seemed like more of a case of someone who just did not exert himself academically, more of a slacker than someone who lacked intelligence. Keiland was a really well-spoken guy.

That's exactly my point. A ton of kids aren't the smartest guys in the world but they get qualified.

Prominentwon likes to talk down on 17 year old kids that he doesn't know.

Keiland from what I remember failed a grade early in his schooling and once that happened his age wasn't going to allow him to play his senior year, but had he stayed at Northside he would have graduated in 4 years. But in order to advance his career he went to a prep school so he wouldn't have to sit out a year of playing football.

I was at the game when Alonzo Landry for Carencro ran for over 200 against Destrehan several years back in JJ's Junior year at Destrehan. He ended up going to Nichols or some directional school though.

That's part of the problem, it's becoming a pattern for Carencro. The coaches there aren't doing those kids any favor by allowing them to not get it done in the classroom, forcing them to miss opportunities after HS. High school isn't hard, even if you're a functional retard. Average effort in the classroom should get you eligible.

Alonzo Landry ended up signing with McNeese. He never set foot on campus. The entry test for McNeese is a mirror. They put it under your nose and if it fogs up, you're in. I know. I took it.

Alex is a great kid and a hard worker, however he also slacked early on in the classroom. I heard he is close to getting grades in order though..... Even with the grades he lacks top end speed....
